SECTION 1 — FOUNDATIONAL DOCTRINE & THEOLOGY OF REDEMPTION
School of Spirit Training Manual — Spirit-Filled Global International Instructor: Evangelist David M. Olaoluwa
INTRODUCTION, PURPOSE & VISION OF THIS TRAINING MODULE
This first training section lays the foundation for the entire School of Spirit curriculum.
Every student must understand what redemption is, how redemption works, and why redemption required the blood of Jesus. Without this foundation, deeper teachings on identity, authority, warfare, or covenant cannot be fully comprehended. The purpose of this module is to introduce you to the doctrine of redemption through a Spirit-filled, revelation-based, and legally accurate perspective.
As a School of Spirit student, you are not learning casually; you are being equipped, trained, and spiritually constructed. Redemption is not simply a topic—it is a spiritual system, a legal structure, and a covenant mechanism that governs your entire Christian existence. The vision of the School of Spirit is to produce believers who carry spiritual intelligence, not shallow excitement; believers who can interpret spiritual realities, not guess them; believers who understand the technologies of the spirit, not merely the language of religion. This module builds that intelligence. Your assignment is to read, meditate, absorb, and understand.
THE BIBLICAL MEANING & MYSTERY OF BLOOD
In Scripture, blood is never treated as ordinary liquid. It is always presented as a divine substance carrying spiritual significance. According to Leviticus 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood…” meaning blood contains life itself. Life is spiritual. Life comes from God.
Therefore, blood is not physical alone—it is a spiritual carrier. Blood carries:
• identity
• inheritance
• nature
• history
• legality
• covenant
• and spiritual testimony
Blood can speak (Hebrews 12:24), blood can witness (1 John 5:8), and blood can hold people accountable across generations.
This is why the concept of blood in Scripture is not symbolic—it is a spiritual mystery and a legal reality.
In the realm of the spirit, blood:
• activates covenants
• seals transactions
• opens doorways
• transfers rights
• establishes ownership
• and delivers verdicts
You cannot understand redemption unless you understand the divine technology of blood. Everything God does with man comes through blood. Everything Satan claims against man is also through blood. You must therefore treat this subject with the seriousness of a spiritual law student learning covenant science.
BLOOD AS LIFE, BLOOD AS CURRENCY & LEVELS OF BLOOD-LIFE
Blood is more than life; it is value. And value becomes currency.
In the kingdom of God, the value of a sacrifice is determined by the life within the blood offered.
There are levels of blood-life, each carrying different spiritual weight:
1. Animal Blood — Limited Value Animal blood contains limited life. It can temporarily cover sin (Old Testament sacrifices), but it cannot remove sin or redeem a soul. This is because the value of an animal’s life cannot balance the value of a human life.
2. Human Blood — High Value, But Corrupted Human blood carries:
• identity
• authority
• generational history
• and covenant rights
However, after the fall, human blood became corrupted by sin. Fallen blood cannot purchase eternal redemption because corrupted life cannot buy back corrupted life. It lacks divine value.
3. Divine-Human Sinless Blood — Infinite Value This is the blood of Jesus Christ.
This blood contains:
• divine purity
• divine nature
• divine authority
• divine value
This is the highest life ever introduced into earth’s spiritual system. Because sinless divine life is infinite in value, it can pay an infinite debt. Only the blood of Jesus qualifies as the eternal ransom price for mankind.
In spiritual terms:
• Animal blood covers
• Human blood testifies
• Jesus’ blood redeems
This is why redemption required divine blood, not human effort.
RANSOM, REDEMPTION & SPIRITUAL LEGALITIES
Redemption is a legal transaction, not an emotional concept. The word “ransom” means “the required price to release someone from captivity.” When man fell, sin established a legal claim against humanity.
That legal claim demanded a payment. Here is the legal structure:
1. Man sinned → breaking spiritual law
2. Sin created debt → a legal penalty
3. Satan gained jurisdiction → legal ownership of fallen man
4. Humanity became enslaved → under darkness
5. Redemption required payment → a ransom equal to the value of the life lost Because humanity fell in Adam, the entire human race carried a debt that could not be paid by human effort, human blood, or human righteousness.
Redemption demanded a sinless substitute—a sacrifice whose life was pure enough, valuable enough, and divine enough to settle the eternal legal case against humanity. This is why Jesus did not merely forgive us—He paid for us. Redemption is not free. It is paid in full.
THE FALL OF MAN, LOSS OF DOMINION & SPIRITUAL SEPARATION
To understand redemption, you must understand what was lost.
When Adam fell in the Garden:
1. Man Lost Dominion Adam’s authority to rule was transferred to Satan.
This handed over:
• spiritual government
• territorial influence
• earthly authority
2. Man Died Spiritually Adam did not fall physically first—he fell legally and spiritually.
3. Man Became Separated From Divine Life Because God is holy, sin created distance. Humanity became disconnected from the source of life.
4. The Human Nature Became Corrupted Sin entered the bloodstream, causing:
• decay
• death
• corruption
• and generational consequences
This is why every human born carries fallen blood. The fall was a legal shift of spiritual authority. Redemption reverses this shift.
ANCESTRAL COVENANTS & BLOODLINE IMPLICATIONS
Because blood carries history and covenant, whatever your ancestors entered into— especially spiritually—passes through the bloodline.
Many believers struggle with patterns not because of personal sin, but because of ancestral agreements. These may include:
• idolatry
• occult covenants
• family altars
• blood sacrifices
• vows or oaths
• traditional dedications
Such covenants give the enemy legal grounds to attack, delay, resist, or harass families for generations. You must understand that the bloodline is a spiritual system. Redemption does not simply ignore your bloodline—it legally overrides it with the covenant blood of Jesus.
WHY JESUS NEEDED SINLESS BLOOD
For redemption to be possible, the Redeemer must:
• carry no sin
• possess no corruption
• be free from Adamic inheritance
• have divine life in His blood
This is why Jesus could not be conceived by a human father. The seed came from the Holy Spirit, ensuring that His blood was divine and pure. If His blood had come from Adam, redemption would be impossible. Only innocence can redeem guilt.
THE PURITY & SPIRITUAL LEGALITY OF CHRIST’S BLOOD
The blood of Jesus is:
• pure
• eternal
• incorruptible
• legally superior
• spiritually infinite Because of this purity, the blood of Jesus:
• cancels demonic covenants
• erases legal accusations
• breaks ancestral claims
• purifies the conscience
• grants eternal access to the Father
• establishes the New Covenant
• transfers authority back to believers Christ’s blood is the legal foundation of your new identity, your authority, and your spiritual status.
